June Update
Our team was able to host a missions trip for a group of young people from Bible Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina. We were so encouraged by the hearts of these young people and their leaders to selflessly serve others during their stay. They did a great job doing some touch ups in the church, building entryway seating, and helping us spread the gospel in Dos Hermanas. We were blessed to see their burden for Spain and its people.
We have seen visitors come to church services this month and many return. Our focus has been to disciple and train the believers who are attending while reaching out through evangelism and our English conversation groups. Through our English conversation group, a Spanish couple invited our family into their home for dinner and the Lord opened up a beautiful opportunity to share the gospel with them. Grace has been friends with Monica for over a year and a half and has had her son David, in the children’s English conversation group. Please pray for the salvation of Juan Alberto and Monica.
June marks the end of the school year for our boys. Gideon finished up fourth grade and Silas graduated from kindergarten. As parents, our hearts were blessed when Gideon shared with us the opportunity the Lord gave him to share the gospel with one of his best friends in school. To see his sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and his burden for his friends was a blessing.
Our summer furlough travels begin on July 3rd. Please pray for our protection as we travel and visit our supporting churches as well as family.
